Generation Esports and LeagueOS Partner to Build a True K-12 to Collegiate Pipeline

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

Generation Esports and LeagueOS Partner to Build a True K-12 to Collegiate Pipeline

Generation Esports, home of Gaming Concepts and the High School Esports League (HSEL), and LeagueOS (LOS) have partnered to provide high school esports student athletes unparalleled opportunities for advancement into colleges/universities through the LOS Portal

Crafted with student data security as its highest priority, the LOS Portal lists over 600 college esports programs searchable by location, games played, degree programs, and other parameters. All HSEL student athletes looking to further their education can bookmark their preferred programs and connect with verified college recruiters, logging in with their existing Generation Esports accounts to opt-in and create their own dynamic Prospect profile.

From Marty Wetherall, Co-founder and CEO of LeagueOS: “As the leading system of record for esports in schools, we've built LOS Portal as the ultimate pathway for students to safely use their stats, trophies, and other achievements to attract interest from colleges. Now they can let their HSEL accomplishments speak for themselves as they pursue roster spots and scholarships, and we're honored to be partnering with the longest-running scholastic esports organization to make these stats-driven connections happen across the country.”

Additionally, Generation Esports and LeagueOS will help expand access to the top esports curriculum for the classroom throughout their respective networks, enabling a feed of relevant academic achievements to appear on Prospect profiles as well. Integrating students' passion for gaming with traditional STEM and CTE subjects, Gaming Concepts has become the #1 selling scholastic gaming curriculum in the United States. The program not only boosts attendance rates and grade point averages but also includes evidence-based "Mental Health Moments" designed to offer students preventative mental health support.

Mason Mullenioux, CEO of Generation Esports, stated, “One of our goals when we first started HSEL back in 2012 was to not only give students more opportunities to belong to their school, but to build a true pipeline for them to further their education after they graduate. With the LOS Portal, HSEL students now have that bridge, and the opportunities for them to advance their careers have expanded tenfold.”

This innovative partnership aims to open doors for high school esports student athletes, allowing them to continue growing their passion for competition while furthering their education.
